My track record
I’ve done freelance work for various ad agencies and creative departments. I also spent a total of six years at Micro Warehouse and then at CDW, where as senior copywriter I was constantly tapped to write and/or tweak messaging related to technology products.
I assure you that I am flexible. After all this time, there are still only 26 letters in the alphabet, and I’ve been able to use them for a variety of tasks. Want proof? Here’s some of the work I’ve done.
In addition to my more “corporate” work, I also maintain Everybody’s Dummy, a blog of record reviews and other musings on music updated thrice weekly. You can read it here.
Rave reviews
But I don’t have to keep talking about me. Let’s let some other people talk about me.
“Ward is consistently a very good writer, adept at research and rose admirably to every challenge with which I presented him during a period of rapid change in the company. He is among the people I would choose as my “dream team” if the opportunity arose.”

“Ward is a superb copywriter whose work is second to none. We hired Ward to create copy for our new website, and his work was above and beyond, enabling us to create a premium site that would not have been possible without his help.”
Robert Hardy

“With a slavish attention to detail and a keen understanding of the target consumer, Ward ‘gets it’ and then gets it done. He’s as reliable as a Honda and goes out of his way to make your job easier.”
